如何歸納總結(jié)英語(yǔ)題型
同學(xué)們?cè)跍?zhǔn)備考試的期間,做了大量的題。但有些題型是差不多的,考的就是一個(gè)知識(shí)點(diǎn),同學(xué)們卻老是出錯(cuò),錯(cuò)了一遍錯(cuò)兩遍,失去了得分的機(jī)會(huì)。虛擬語(yǔ)氣,非謂語(yǔ),不定式,從句,倒裝等都是考試的重點(diǎn),題型雖在反復(fù)的變化,但萬(wàn)變不離其中。
一、 現(xiàn)在分詞
1.______ a reply, he decided to write a letter to her again.
A) Not receiving B) Having not received
C) Not having received D) Not received
此題選C?,F(xiàn)在分詞的否定式作原因狀語(yǔ),又有receive在write之間,所以用的是have received。
2. The young doctor could not sleep at night, his thoughts ______ him no peace.
A) being given B) giving C) gave D) to give
此題選B。 現(xiàn)在分詞作獨(dú)立主格結(jié)構(gòu)相當(dāng)于原因狀語(yǔ)。
二、 虛擬語(yǔ)氣
1.Peter wishes that he _____ law instead of literature when he was in college.
A) would study B) studied C) had studied D) could study
此題選C。 wish引導(dǎo)的虛擬語(yǔ)氣,結(jié)構(gòu)有3:對(duì)現(xiàn)在虛擬,動(dòng)詞用過(guò)去式;對(duì)過(guò)去虛擬,謂語(yǔ)部分had done;對(duì)將來(lái)虛擬,謂語(yǔ)部分是情態(tài)動(dòng)詞加動(dòng)詞的原型。這題是對(duì)過(guò)去沒(méi)有實(shí)現(xiàn)的愿望進(jìn)行虛擬,所以用過(guò)去完成時(shí)。
2. I told Sally how to get here, but perhaps I ____ for her.
A) should have written it out B) had to write it out
C) ought to write it out D) must have written it out
此題選A。 ought to \ should have done 表虛擬,意思為“本應(yīng)該做某事,但沒(méi)有做”。
3. I was ill that day, otherwise I _________ the sports meet.
A) would take part in B) took part in
C) would have taken part in D) had taken part in
此題選C。 otherwise, but for, without 引導(dǎo)的含蓄條件的虛擬語(yǔ)氣。
三、 倒裝
1. Stop explaining it! In no circumstances ______ a lie.
A) you shouldn’t tell B) you should tell
C) should you tell D) shouldn’t you tell
此題選C。in circumstance, often, many a time, only, seldom, scarcely等放于句首,句子主謂倒裝。
2. Never before __ engaged in producing goods just for the comfort of man.
A) had so many people been B) so many people have been
C) have so many people been D) so many people had been
此題選C。意思為“從未有如此多的人專(zhuān)注于為了人類(lèi)的舒適享受而進(jìn)行的生產(chǎn)活動(dòng)?!?/p>
四、 情態(tài)動(dòng)詞
1.The room is so dirty; it _________ have been cleaned.
A) wouldn’t B) mustn’t C) can’t D) shouldn’t
此題選C。根據(jù)句意,排除A,D。B選項(xiàng)表示“禁止”,所以排除。
2. You _____ her in her office last Friday; she’s been out of town for two weeks.
A) needn’t have seen B) explained
C) can’t have seen D) must have seen
此題選C。D選項(xiàng)的意思為肯定猜測(cè)。
3. The building of the lab ____ before the end of this term.
A) must complete B) must have completed
C) must be completed D) must have been completed
此題選C。為情態(tài)動(dòng)詞的被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài),其結(jié)構(gòu)為:情態(tài)動(dòng)詞+be動(dòng)詞+過(guò)去分詞。
五、 固定短語(yǔ),結(jié)構(gòu)等
1.Cancer is second only ______ heart disease as a cause of death.
A) from B) with C) to D) of
此題選C。second to “僅次于”。
2. A red pencil-mark on the fifth page caught his _____.
A) look B) eye C) watch D) ears
此題選B。 catch one’s eye “吸引某人的眼球”。
3. The manager accused one of the hotel servants ______ stealing the money.
A) about B) with C) of D) for
此題選C。be accused of “被譴責(zé),控告。。?!?。
